Rotary Driver Gift

In my last entry I showed the thank you gift I gave each of the hosts at my Rotary club's Progressive Dinner.   Well, we didn't have to drive between each of the homes, but we had vans and drivers taking us between each place.  These little milk jugs are the thank you gifts I gave to the three drivers who helped us out.

Chicken Pot Pie

Chicken Pot Pie in a Christmas Theme
My neighbor asked me to make a card that she could give to her niece for Christmas.  Her niece is one of my stamping friends so I just had to make a card she would like!!!  My neighbor BeckySue said it needed to be something that would say what her present was when she looked at it.  What was the present?  Home made Chicken Pot Pies!!  What a unique gift!  I thought about the stamps I have that I could use.  I brought out SU Country Morning and used the chicken from that.  I wondered what I could use for the pie and found my OCL set Life's A Picnic.  I stamped the image of the ants eating the pie, made some minor adjustments to take the ant out of the stamped image, then cut out the pie.  The inside was decorated with a the same paper and a chick & egg stamped image.  Rishia loved her present but before she even read the message inside said "Becky made this!"

Amy's Birthday

My daughter's birthday is just after the new year.  I've always tried to make her birthday special for a couple of reasons: it so closely follows the holidays and because she is and always will be my little girl!
I subscribe to Splitcoast Stampers Weekly Inkling and when I was sent #292 I just had to make it and the timing was perfect!  The Double Dutch Fold tutorial was easy to follow and therefore easy to do.
I used several types of ink, stamps, and papers.

Pretty inside!

Bride and Groom (Winner for Memories of Time Challenge)

Right after the holidays we received a wedding invitation from our nephew in Connecticut.  It was beautiful in purples and lattice and vellum.  We aren't able to attend, but I want to make a card to congratulate the happy couple.  When I make a wedding card I always like to use some of the paper from the invitation.  There were two different colors of purple on the lattice and the vellum which coordinated perfectly with SU CS Perfect Plum and also the Copic colors I used to color the image I stamped from the OCL set Bride and Groom.I entered this card in the Memories of Time scrapbook challenge.  Who knows, maybe a card can be done in a scrapbook layout!!!

The inside needs to be pretty too!
